In Memory of My Dad

Today is his funeral.

I can't ride through this section of the Disneyland Railroad without thinking of my dad.

When we came upon this dinosaur, we could always count on him to say, "That dinosaur has been chewing on that weed for a looooooooong time."

It All Started In 1964

My family's trips to Disneyland, that is.  My dad asked my mom how she felt about spending their family vacation in Anaheim, California.  Her reply...  "Anaheim?  What's in Anaheim?"  She soon found out.  Disneyland became our family's favorite vacation spot.

I don't have any pictures from their trip in 1964, so this one taken in October 2012 will have to do.
